Welcome to our second issue of AfterMidnight.
One of the top words in our vocabulary today is BRANDING and yet sometimes, as owners of small and medium sized businesses, we think that it's just for the BIG companies. Perhaps that's because we see and recognize their branding everywhere we go.
Little do we realize that Branding is just as important to us. We need our current and prospective clients to recognize us as well. Everything from our business card, to stationery, building signs and our vehicles needs to have this common look and feel.
It all starts with a logo, the image of your company name, service or product you provide.
The importance of a professionally designed logo and marketing materials cannot be stressed enough. The initial lack of customers and cash flow are often given as the main reasons new small business owners put off designing a logo and marketing materials professionally. Unfortunately, designing their own marketing materials—or having an amateur designer, friend, or relative create the design—when they launch their businesses will make getting those initial clients more difficult.
